Very soft cashmere neck warmer

I'd love a very soft and fine knit cashmere neck warmer for WFH. I find scarves a bit annoying, so I think I'd prefer some kind of snood / buff / loop.

I've got a nice stripey Findra one, but it's probably slightly less soft and a heavier weight than I'd prefer. I also wondered about a TurtleDoves one as I love the softness of my fingerless gloves, but their neck warmers seem to be patches sewn together, and to possibly be a bit bulkier than I'd prefer. I've also got a nice merino Buff, but it's not quite soft and fluffy enough.

Does anyone have any recommendations? I feel like Goldilocks 😄.

I have two turtle doves one. One is plain black. The other is patches. I’d highly recommend them

Thanks, @FloraClover - so, you don't find them too bulky or the hems too annoying? I did wonder about the plain black ones, I think they're sold out at the moment though.

Brora do gorgeously soft cashmere snoods. Not cheap but really lovely

Oh, they both look nice - thanks!

i don’t find them too bulky. Perfect for working from home. I forget I have it on sometimes

I have several from John Lewis which I love. However I got mine a few years ago and see that they get slightly mixed reviews now (some reviews say thinner, not as soft, not as high quality as in the past) They seem to be out of stock online at the moment, but worth looking out for in store to see what you think. At least one of mine was bought when on sale/special offer.

I have a turtle doves neck warmer made from patches and love it - I live in it this time of the year and really notice the difference in how warm (or not!) I feel depending on whether I’m wearing it or not.
im really fussy about having things too tight around my neck - I had to go and buy a new set of T-shirts this winter as I realised that I’d got several that had just become too tight around my neck even though they were all supposed to be round neck or scoop neck or v neck so nothing even vaguely tight or high. But I’m fine with my turtle doves neck warmer on.
you’ve just reminded me I meant to buy another one over Christmas but got overtaken by everything else going on - I need to get another one so I can alternate them!

A few years ago they sent me the wrong colour that I bought as a gift and they were bloody awful and rude to me.

I bought one from the Nearly New Cashmere company as a. Christmas gift, was beautifully soft and not bulky

Oh, I’m following this. I would like a white or ivory cashmere snood. I have JL one in teal and love it but sadly they don’t have white/ivory/very light cream.

I have three John Lewis ones. The two that I bought a few years ago are lovely but the one I’ve just bought is much thinner and not as soft.

Thanks for all of the suggestions - I'm saving up, and deciding which one to buy 🙂.

I did find the turtle doves one too bulky and not that soft. The Brora gauzy one is lovely.
