BB cream (to replace discontinued No7 one)

I've belatedly discovered that Boots have changed/ discontinued their 'Beautiful Skin' BB cream. I don't wear make up very often and when I do it's just this + mascara and eye liner and a bit of tinted Nivea lip gloss. So I'm gutted that it's discontinued (reviews of the replacement are not good).

Can anyone recommend an alternative? I'm 48 and have relatively pale skin and I love how I could just whack it on in under a minute with my fingers and it evened things out and make me look more presentable for days in the office...

Erborian. It makes your skin look amazing, the lightest shade is fine for me and I’m Pretty pale.
The CC cream is also nice, but not a light enough shade for me.

Thanks. Which shade do you use? From this it looks like 'clair' is the lightest, but it's in the middle of the range, which has confused me!

Bare minerals complexion rescue

I use both Erborian and the Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue! Erborian is for good days, the Bare Minerals for when my skin needs a bit more help/coverage.

I’m in bed but I’m sure it’s Nude, I will try to remember to check in the morning.

The bare minerals is puzzling me, I thought I’d look at trying that but the shades don’t even look anyone’s skin colour on the models. I think I’m like the lightest arm but no shade there would suit.

Erborian looks a bit orangey on me.

I also love Eborian. Clair is perfect for me. It's absolutely brilliant for a light coverage instead of foundation and I just add a bronzer if I'm going out

Origins Ginzing Energy Boosting Tinted moisturiser, it seems to adapt to my pale skin beautifully and warm up and even out my complexion. I was sceptical when I saw the colour of it but was given some in a tester pot and wouldn't be without it now.

I think I'm part ghost, part vampire and Erborian's clair is perfect on me. SpaceNK sent me a sample that I was quite meh about trying but I fell in love with it.

I’d say try to find an outlet and get them to match you - the biggest Boots shops often have a concession if you don’t have a local Bare Minerals shop…

I have Natural in Bare Minerals, but Clair works for me in Erborian. I’m not particularly pale, and am usually a number 2 in other foundations. The Erborian seems to adapt to your skin colour - it goes on white.

Where I live the No7 beautiful skin BB cream is still in Boots. The new version was there and has been removed so I think they might have had negative reviews about the new one and removed it.

Have you tried the city light tinted moisturiser that NO7 do? I wear it daily and think it's great. They quite a few shades available too.
