Hi 👋 would be so grateful for some style ideas for an afternoon/evening of city drinking. Going with work girls who are all early to mid 30s (I'm the eldest at just 40). I just don't know what sort of things to wear to look smart but not ott! I'm size 8/10 on top size 10 bottom half 5 foot 5. I have some black coated jeans and a lovely long sleeved black mesh top with vest that looks quite nice as a combo but then what shoes and coat? Or do I go for a long plain black fitted midi dress and get a nice smart coat to go with it? Thinking like a camel or deep pink wool coat. Don't even know if that sounds fashionable! Would love some inspiration!
