Grey hair going yellow

Hello
Had black hair, now salt and pepper streaks of white mixed in with the black. The strips of white at the front have a yellow tinge. Don't smoke, no-one in house does. I use organix coconut shampoo, not recently changed. Would a purple shampoo help?

Yes it would and the 99p one in Home Bargains is actually really good, they do shampoo and conditioner

I have the same issue, in fact I look quite blonde these days. My hair was reddish before I went grey.
I haven't found that purple shampoo makes a great deal of difference. I'm considering going pink.
