Videos for simple makeup in your forties that don't use 100s of products?

I've never worn much makeup other than the occasional bit of lipgloss and mascara. At 46 I have decided I want to wear more for nights out. When I try foundations I just look tired and old. I've tried to find videos but I am so out of touch with this world. They all use so many products I've never heard of and would cost a fortune to try them all. I have very pale skin, no winkles yet but face looking a bit old and saggy since finally losing my lockdown weight gain. Can anyone recommend where to start? Thanks in advance.

Lisa Eldridge is the GOAT. Scroll down for the oldest videos from before she started her own brand, look for keywords like '5 minute', 'simple' etc.

Basics
Don't think you need to wear foundation, it's not going to help (and often going to make things worse) if your concerns are sagging or dryness rather than uneven colour. Blusher and possibly highlighter are much more important (after sorting out skincare, of course.)

Jones Road stuff is made for the older woman no make up look. I'd advise joining the Facebook group to see how others use it. You can send the company a selfie and they'll recommend products. I use the WTF foundation and the flushed miracle balm as blusher/glow and a pop on the lips, and then a mascara and eyebrow pencil I already had. It just makes me look healthy and glowing. Highly recommend but works a little differently to normal make up so do join the Facebook group to learn how it works.

Beauty and the boutique do quick minimal make up videos. I don’t wear foundation either. Blusher is my go as highlighter for cheeks and eyes bringing warmth to my face. Daniel Sandler do some lovely liquid blushers that glide on and don’t get stuck in fine lines around the eyes. I use Glow and So Pretty from their range and use on cheeks and eyes, along with everyday pink lipstick, mascara and I’m done.
