Hi all,

I've got a scar from where my belly button piercing was rejected and it's looking very ugly. I only took it out 3 weeks ago but I'm wanting something to stop it from permanently scarring and get rid of the angry redness! Anything?!

Thanks in advance xx

Bio oil, put it on religiously every morning and night and it should help.

You could get a tattoo around there to disguise it

I had mine done at 15 and took it out a few years later. 15 years on and I still have a scar there, not entirely sure you can stop it happening.

Sudocrem is magic for sore bits. Slather it on and put a plaster over it so it doesn't just rub off. Once the scar is less red and angry, try organic rosehip oil which is fantastic at reducing the appearance of scars.

I second this. My body sadly rejected my piercing too, which l had done twice, so l had to give up. The scar is still there but is fading.

l would love to get my nipples pierced but too scared after this experience.
