Alternatives to M&S pull on Jeggings?

I’ve been a long term fan of the £17.50 M&S jeggings and I know there was a thread in Nov 23 where they seemed as popular as ever. But in the last 2 months I’ve definitely noticed a change in the fit - the thighs seem really baggy now and they look awful after 1 wear. I’ve tried the black and the indigo, the latter was even worse. Some of the online reviews are saying the same.

Does anyone recommend another brand that are as comfy but skin-tight from thigh to ankle and don’t go baggy easily? I’m happy to spend a bit more if needed.

I agree OP. I had a black pair last year and bought a new pair as the others had started to fade. I just don’t wear them as they are baggy and poorly fitting. I thought it was just me .

Try the next pinto leggings. Thick and never go baggy, but I always air dry mine.

tigerrabbit · 08/01/2024 18:44

Thanks, I’ll check them out now!

The m&s cosy jeggings are better than the pull on.

Mine are from Tesco and they are much better quality than the M&S ones, but come up small!!

Nitgel · 08/01/2024 22:15

Uniqlo

KeeeeeepDancing · 09/01/2024 05:12

I have both m&s and Uniqlo. Uniqlo are much better quality. And consistent, I wore out a pair, bought replacement and they were identical.

I just got a couple of pairs of the £17.50 ones and they seem okay on me, but then I'm used to slightly baggy as I have a big tummy in the middle and my legs are slim. Managed to get a size 24 which is rare as hens teeth these days, but I gotta admit any smaller would have been a bit of a squeeze.

Tesco. I’ve got several pairs and wouldn’t go anywhere else. This year they are too high waisted for me so haven’t bought any but they may suit other people who possess a waist

I like the "Kate" jeggings from Peacocks.

Agreed - was just coming on to say this. I was really disappointed with the baggy legs on the regular jeggings recently but the cosy ones were a much better fit.

The M & S cosy ones are brilliant

DiscoDragon · 09/01/2024 11:37

I've also got a couple of pairs of the M&S cosy jeggings and I absolutely love them!

thenightsky · 09/01/2024 12:25

Can anyone post to link to the M&S cosy jeggings please? Nothing is coming up on the search box.

Themountainwithsnowonit · 09/01/2024 12:28

Uniqlo ones are brilliant. So comfortable, long lasting and look good. If you want warmer ones, the heattech ones are the same style but really cosy.

Squash24 · 09/01/2024 12:56

I live in the Asda ones. The black control ponte ones. They’re marketed as leggings but they’re so thick, I only wear them as trousers. Very stretchy too!

tigerrabbit · 09/01/2024 13:37

These all look amazing thank you so much! I usually lurk on here but knew I’d get some good advice. I fancy the ponte ones as trousers if I can get away with it -I have a job that involves me looking professional but also involves a lot of moving about and bending so comfort is key.

Lands End ones are really good.

ISeeTrees · 09/01/2024 13:58

The Matalan ones are good, mine are a couple of years old and going strong.
(Also want m&s cosy ones now thanks to this thread!)

Oldraver · 09/01/2024 17:45

I have a couple of pairs for work and don't mind them loose but for outside of work I have some a size down
