Dark Circle Coverage Recommendations Please

Hi,

Can anyone recommend the best thing to disguise tired eyes and dark circles please? I have chronic illnesses so my sleep isn’t always the best!

I’m currently using a Nars concealer which isn’t bad but I’m looking at the Erborian one as I use their red cc cream and really like it. Before I take the plunge, I thought I’d see if there are any other ideas.

Thank you.

Trinny BFF eye is good but not especially long lasting. Might give it IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye a whirl as heard good things…

I’m following this too. I’m intrigued by the YSL concealer version of the famous clicky pen.

Sculpted by Aimee undereye concealer is the best I've found. I have insomnia, so tend to look knackered. If I go out without this I'm frequently told l look tired. (So grateful for their observation!!) Don't get told that if I am wearing it.

Brighten Up Concealer | Under Eye Concealers | Concealers

A soft focus concealer that blurs and brightens while boosting skin health. Perfect for hiding discolouration and signs of fatigue under the eyes.

I used the YSL clicky pen years ago and got to the point where I didn’t rate it. That was when I was in my 20’s too, when I was a bit more alive looking in general.😂

I tried the clicky pen years ago and found it useless. The concealer version is meant to be better. I like the idea of something that conceals and brightens. I swear if I went to work with no concealer, I’d be sent home as I look so unwell.

Bobbi brown corrector underneath a decent concealer. Day to day I like Maybelline Age Rewind, but for more "heavy duty" if I'm going out, Tarte Shape Tape has good coverage.

I like Collection lasting performance stretch concealer ( comes in small round pot) applied with brush better than any of the more expensive ones I've tried. I follow it up with Boots no7 facial sun protection spf 50 bb cream applied all over face.

Dark circles are horrible! Sometimes a bit of highlighter below upper arch eyebrow and at inner corner eye helps distract too

CheerfulBunny · 09/01/2024 12:18

@EvelynBeatrice Yes, I've started using a Collection one and it's pretty good, especially for the price. I think it's the hydrating one though with a blue lid. I was using the already mentioned Bobbi Brown concealer previously which was OK-ish but not perfect. I've also tried the amazing Tarte concealer but I can't make the texture work around my eyes. I think this is true for anyone over the age of 25 to be honest.
Good primer and going for a warmer shade has helped a lot but I still haven't found the 'holy grail' of undereye concealer.

Charlotte Tilbury do a creamy colour corrector in a compact. It's very good but it doesn't gave the name printed on it sorry
