I've been getting grey roots at the front & sides for a few years, so had lots of blonde highlights put in at a salon a couple of months ago. The stylist put a cool toner on them to counteract the red tones in my hair so that when the grey regrowth appears, it will blend better and not be as noticeable.
But it is very noticeable already.
I think even if I use an ash blonde hair dye, the natural red tones will make it a ginger, and it won't match the rest.
I can't afford to go back to the salon for a few months at least. Is there a home solution, do you think?
