Eyelash extension removal or let them drop out?

Hi

My usual lash lady for various reasons hasn't been able to give me an infill and it will have been 5 weeks by the time I can have them redone (needing a full set). Should I worry about finding someone to professionally remove the remaining ones meanwhile or is it ok to let them fall out of their own accord? I don't want to damage my lashes if I can help it. (Aware extensions probably already cause some damage but you know what I mean!) Finding conflicting info when I Google.

Thanks!

Trained therapist here, you can let them fall naturally but whatever you do don’t pull them out… it you’re even tempted to pull them off then book with someone else for removal. Just keep them clean and wash your eyes every day, they’ll fall out in line with your natural lash cycle x

Thank you! Nope definitely too scared to pull them out haha. I'm pretty saintly with them, never fiddle with them etc.

I'm absolutely gutted not to be able to get my infill, I've now lost a few 4 weeks in (my lashes are fine underneath but obviously they are shorter than the extensions) and typically they are right in the middle of my eye where it's the most noticeable 🙄. I just wasnt sure if I let them cling on too long whether that would make them eventually weigh down on my natural lash and snap them or if that was just a myth xx
