Eye cream help

I'm totally overwhelmed by the options on the market, so I'm here for the wisdom of Mumsnet

I'm nearly 40 and my eyelids are becoming crepey and tired looking. I also have very dark circles. The skin round my eyes can be quite sensitive so that's something else I need to bear in mind.

I'd be really grateful for your recommendations. Thanks Smile

Drunk Elephant Ceramighty AF (purple cap) is very, very good but it's £50+ and can sting a bit if you get it on the eyeball (I mean, try not to!). You don't need to use much though. Indeed Labs' Eyesilix is half the price and also good.

Dark circles are often hereditary or made worse by being dehydrated so drink a lot of water and start doing something for lymphatic drainage like a jade gua sha thingy at the same time. They can't always be fixed by topical creams.

Kiehl's avocado eye cream is brilliant! Lovely texture, very hydrating and can be worn under makeup.

This is very good if your skin is dry
