My chemo finished in March 2023 and my eyelashes all fell out about a month later. It’s now 9 months later and they’re still not back to normal. They aren’t as long as before and they seem to be more straight and downwards. I can’t really wear mascara because it looks stupid. If I use eyelashes curlers, the ones at the outer edge don’t get caught in the curlers because they’re too small and straight so that looks ridiculous too. Does anyone else have this issue and did they ever go back to normal? It’s getting me down because I had quite nice eyes and eyelashes before and now I don’t. Has anyone had their eyelashes permed after chemo? I’m a bit worried to try it because I also have severe dry eyes from tamoxifen and I’m worried that chemicals near my eyes will make them even more sore.
