Currently have about 2 inches of horrible re growth and feeling terrible about myself. Which would you say is the closest match to my roots? Ends are this horrible washed out gingery colour. I’d love to go to a salon but we are counting the pennies so even store bought will be a splurge!

I'd go for the Icy one. It has lots of ash tones that will cover the orange tones. The others have golden tones which might not do the trick.

@Jasmin1971 which icy one would you say? I think the lighter one (which is the lady with the bob!) x

I don’t think either colour matches, the lighter one looks too warm compared to your roots, the other looks slightly darker than your roots

also the photos are never going to be accurate. I really think box colour is a wildcard. I bet you could put either colour on and your hair will end up jet black or orange!

You could maybe try a dark ash blonde. Box dyes come out much darker than pictured.

Buy professional dye. Schwarzkopf Igora Royal 7.0 mixed with 10 volume (3%) developer (as you are just depositing colour, not covering grey) in a 1:1 ratio. Leave on for 35 minutes. It will sort it.

Always the lighter one. You look like natural leve5/6

@SquirrelHash just about to order this online, thanks so much! Hope it works out ☺️ I’m guessing I don’t apply it to my roots, and just apply it to the already dyed hair? X

Yes, try that, do a bit of a blend, but don't panic if you do encroach onto the current root area, as you don't want too much of a banding effect.
