LVL alternative?

I went to have an LVL treatment for the first time and couldn't do it, I came over all claustrophobic and panicky and we had to give up. Unlike me, not sure why. I was so disappointed.
Anyway, I'm not great with mascara as they all seem to end up down my cheeks! Which I why I wanted to try LVL....
What would your recommendation be to achieve the same sort of results... and/or your best most excellently waterproof mascara ?

I understand what you mean - LVL is daunting, you can't see, it takes ages & someone is poking at your eyes with chemicals. I've had it twice and won't bother again. It's not great for your lashes really so it's probably a good thing you've ruled it out.

The No1 best mascara I have used over & over again, which doesn't smudge and adds dramatic length and lift is YSL Faux Cils.

If you want something more natural looking then Kevin Aucoin volume mascara is a tubing mascara and doesn't smudge either.

In terms of the best mascara ever I'd say my absolute favourite is Estée Lauder double wear. It's a tubing one so doesn't budge. A close 2nd for me is the beauty pie tubing one - if you're already a member it's only a tenner (but not really an option if you're not a member).

However, I posted last week about alternatives to lash extensions as I was ruining my own lashes. Yesterday for the first time I tried amor lashes. If they come off without any damage they will be game changing for me!! Absolutely love them - they genuinely look better and more natural than extensions. Yet to see how well they last and how they come off.....
