Wide leg trousers

Hi what do you think of these trousers ? For context I hate jeans because they feel so constrictive - I’m 53 and not fashionable at all so advice needed - what tops would go and just trainers ? Thanks

I really like them and have just bought some similar ones. I'm 51 and trying to get used to the wide leg silhouette myself. I think tops need to be reasonably tight-fitting and short (ending at the waist, though I would never ever wear one that was actually cropped!). Trainers would be good. I may wear my docs with mine.

I've a fewlikethi I'm slightly older than you. Beware very wide trousers I've tripped over them and really hurt my knee
