Smart workwear for somewhere warm??

So my normal workwear is fairly smart, usually wear a tailored dress with tights, or a skirt and tights (https://www2.hm.com/en_gb/productpage.1095504001.html sort of style skirt) with a smart top and blazer.

However, in a a week, im going to be going to Cape Verde for a work project, so will need something at the same level of smart and professional, but appropriate for the heat. I can work out something for the top that will work for the heat, but struggling with bottoms...!

Tights would look ridiculous in the climate, and im too pasty and pale to consider bare legs.... my smart work trousers just feel a bit heavy as well so dont think that will work either.

Anyone got any suggestions of either lightweight smart trousers, or possibly capri pant/ 3/4 length trousers that are still smart might be a good option?

Also needs to be somewhere i can go in person to shop, planning on going into town tomorrow to have a look!
