Whistles blouse for the princely sun of £2.00.

3 different ones in Knaresborough last week. Alos got some lovely sausages and pork pies from a fab butchers (Appletons) so a good day all round ans well worth the petrol money!

we do have some good charity shops in our surrounding areas so I love to dip in and out.

Not been out due to illness but I picked up a £500 Max mara jacket for £100 on a resale website. I wanted it two years ago but coujd not afford it. I am two sizes smaller so is the jacket, fate.

Not charity shop but I have had my first foray into Ebay buying and have got a great pair of Capezio character dance shoes with Teletone taps already on for £13.50 including postage. I need a pair for our tap dance annual show and I didn't fancy paying upwards of £40 for new in case I decide I'm not brave enough to do it!

I'm also waiting to see if I win with my bid on a Pacsafe cross body bag which will be great for a couple of concerts I'm going to in the summer.

This could become even more addictive than my charity shop habit 😁

Love a good rummage in a charity shop & love coming across an undiscovered shop on my travels. I find small independent charity shops have some the best bargains. About 70% of my wardrobe is charity shop sourced. Month to date so far:

A White Stuff wool mix tunic: RAF blue base with all the colours I love to wear in the pattern on the front and back (grey, pink, navy). Very flattering on me. I can throw it in the washing machine; dry it on the airer & it's ready to wear the next day. Have got compliments every time I've worn it. Cost £5 from Oxfam.

Those salmon coloured shorts Hilfiger might once have been DH's. They were a gift & a lovely thought, but he's a redhead & the just looked awful with his colouring & of course he had nothing matching to wear them with, so I donated them. Were they 36" waist?!

I started volunteering in a charity shop a year ago and at first I wasn’t discriminating enough and much of what I bought was redonated. Now I only buy if it was something I’d be prepared to buy at full price (assuming I could afford it).

Aquazurra nude leather pointy flats with leather ankle tie thingies , all embroidered with gold & jewel tones for £9.99 - gorgeous but a bit too pointy for my Clark’s shaped feet but really lovely shoes , I need to get them on eBay!

At Christmas i got a new sparkly top from Next for £8 with the label still on.
I also got a brand new pair of navy curtains, length 112" double width for £15.
