Second date tonight with someone I really like but bad bad hair day! My hair is really unmanageable but I usually get it professionally blow dried every other day - hairdressers is closed so scooped it up and put some old fake messy hair around it 🤣 does it look ok as I feel like Linda Carter! (From Eastenders not Wonder Woman!). Also that’s not a grey streak it’s genuinely the light!

Not sure about the strawberry accessory....

Whiskeypowers · 02/01/2024 18:19

Is your hair naturally curly then? Why not wear it down?

stayathomer · 02/01/2024 18:20

I’m so sorry I’d rewash to be honest if you have time but no need for a hairdressers you have fab hair looks like it would do well curly or straight! Best of luck tonight!

MediumWell · 02/01/2024 18:20

It looks nice!

MediumWell · 02/01/2024 18:21

And have a good time on the date!

RebelMoon · 02/01/2024 18:21

😮

AuntySueDoesntGiveAShit · 02/01/2024 18:21

I'd wear it down too, those fake hair thingies always look, well , fake .

This!

It looks like you have great hair, I’d relax a bit about it. Lots of men I know would be put off by fake hair so not sure about that but obviously people are different.

EarringsandLipstick · 02/01/2024 18:22

Don't have the bits at the front - but scooping it back is fine. Or wear it loosely tied back with some falling down; no fake hair!

Enjoy your date!

AuntySueDoesntGiveAShit · 02/01/2024 18:23

Although if you've got the gales blowing that we have here , it'll be a waste of time even putting a comb through it!

Mumaway · 02/01/2024 18:24

Same style but without the fake hair and front bits- essentially a messy bun. Looks done without being overdone.

InAMess2023 · 02/01/2024 18:25

Sorry should have added it's really really horrendously greasy. No time to wash it was it needs drying properly otherwise it goes like Einstein type hair (I wish I was joking)

Pic now is without the fake hair. It has to stay up though!

@RebelMoon my hairdresser does an unlimited blow dry club... £75 a month, a god send!

You probably only think you're having a bad hair day because it's always professionally done.
I agree with the pp , get rid of the dangly front bits and do a low , messy bun

AllAroundMyCat · 02/01/2024 18:28

Dangly bits look OTT and unnatural.

I'd never find the time, even if it was free. I agree with a previous poster, you're probably so used to it looking perfect you're being harsh on yourself now. I'm sure it'll be fine, he probably won't even notice. Hope it goes well.

InAMess2023 · 02/01/2024 18:33

Don't think this attached! The front is actually my natural hair 🤣

The front bit looks a bit dated with the twirls. Just put it all back?

AuntySueDoesntGiveAShit · 02/01/2024 18:34

Scrape the dangly bits back , they look a bit old fashioned x

CynthiaKnicksOn · 02/01/2024 18:35

Agree with pps^^. It looks nice, but not the dangly bits. Put it all back I think

AuntySueDoesntGiveAShit · 02/01/2024 18:35

And maybe lower the bun .

EveryOtherNameTaken · 02/01/2024 18:49

I like it. The dangling ringlets make it more feminine.

Yes, this.

Otherwise it looks fine!
