Talk to me about eyebrows please

For context, I am very blonde and fair complexion which means I have very fair almost non existent eyelashes and brows. For as long as I remember I have had my lashes tinted but never my brows. I don't really pencil them in either. But, I'm thinking that maybe I should, and having non existent brows is aging. I'm late 40's. My beautician has recommended a new henna/tint for my brows but I'm scared I'll look ridiculous. Do you think defined brows make a difference?

Try a powder or pencil first before you tint them! Then go a few days with them filled in and see how you feel.
I wouldn’t tint them until I knew it looked ok / I was confident with how I looked

I strongly believe they do! I’ve always had very fair eyebrows. It wasn’t until my 30’s that I started filling them in. Still gentle and not dark. The difference is huge. I look back at photos now and don’t recognise myself!

Some people are obsessed with eyebrows and think that everyone suits bigger, defined brows but I really don't think that's true.

I have brown hair but fair eyebrows and that's what suits me. Very occasionally I will use a tiny amount of pencil underneath them (hard to explain) but I think maybe you could try something like that, a small bit of pencil on certain parts of the brows as opposed to completely filling them in and giving you a full proper eyebrow.

The way I see if it all of our faces were supposed to have big defined brows then we would all naturally have them. Some people have amazing brows but they're not the first thing that you see and that's how I think you know if brows suit a person. There's so many people who get the really defined brows and they're the first thing you notice, I don't think that enhances a face at all.

So I'd definitely play around with small temporary looks first rather than going for something more drastic and permanent.
