Cream blush

Help me buy a cream blush! I'm getting married next week and I need to get my act together. I want a truly creamy one. The one I have is a liquid and I don't really like it! Bonus points if it doubles up as a lippy!

Collection do one in three shades I believe. Clinique does one too. Both collection and Clinique are in a stick type form.

I have the the thing! I adore my lovely Mua cream blush. It has two sides, in complimentary colours in a chubby little case. It really looks fresh & natural & glowy. The lighter-tone blush can be used as a highlighter on the brow bone too. My cheeks look lovely & radiant but very natural too. The shade I use is called Revel. Just a quick sweep & blend & your done, my best blush ever. Have a joyous wedding day. 😊

I rate the Fenty beauty cream blush called ‘Cheeks Out’. It’s very highly pigmented and comes in gorgeous colours.

I also like the Milk sticks but they probably lack the staying power for what you need.

MotherofAllMatriarchs · 31/12/2023 17:28

Oh and Stila has a lovely cream blush too.

AzureBlue99 · 31/12/2023 17:32

Do you apply your cream blushes with a brush or fingers? Do you use face powder over or under?

learieonthewildmoor · 31/12/2023 17:53

Ilia Multistick. Apply a swipe and blend with fingers or brush. Can be used as a lip pie, but I would recommend getting a transfer resistant lipstick for the day.

kerstina · 31/12/2023 18:17

Bobby brown blusher .Mac do one called glow play which I really like but not sure if you will like the texture

willsandnoodle · 31/12/2023 21:30

Thank you all! It's just a little wedding; us and witnesses. Then out for lunch. I'm not going full wedding glam.

Usually my fingers. Tried a brush but that felt weird. I bought a new brush today actually.

I'll be colour correcting and concealing. Combing and styling my brows (they're microbladed so won't need much).
Some cream eye shadow in browns, and will use this to subtly line my eyes too.
Mascara.

I have lilylolo. Comes in plenty of colours, doubles as a lippy and is in a neat compact with a mirror.

Highly pigmented, I just touch it rather than stroke my finger on it.

DanceMumTaxi · 31/12/2023 22:15

Bobbi Brown or Stila.

MabelMoo23 · 31/12/2023 22:56

I use Baby Cheeks in petal by Westman Atelier, it’s beautiful and also doubles as a lippy

baubletits · 01/01/2024 01:07

I currently use Clinique stick blush and a Huda beauty stick blush, I love both of them.

bingohandjob · 01/01/2024 01:44

Fenty cream blush and the bronzer is lovely texture and very flattering and easy to use.

I've just put an order in or two shades and some other bits!

Rare Beauty Melting Blush is absolutely amazing, I really love it. I have it in Nearly Mauve but they have more colours.
@AzureBlue99 I’m not sure if you were asking for you or the OP about putting powder under or on top. I’ve seen on Lisa Eldridge makeup videos that you would go for creamy textured products first and powder after, and not mix the two. For example you shouldn’t apply a cream blush on top of powder foundation, but you can apply cream foundation, cream blush and then powder on top.

A) wrong thread? And B) who the fuck cares what 'obese women' choose to wear. They don't wear it for you.

puddypud · 01/01/2024 11:18

I use a Nudestix cream stick blush in Rosy Posy. I also have a Morphe cream blush - Notoriously Neutral which is a bit more budget friendly.

I have Charlotte Tilbury all in one kit with a lovely blusher, highlighter and eye sticky they come in a little kit like 3 lipsticks. I also have victoria Beckham cream blush in spice and a highlighter. Both absolutely brilliant. I think he'd make up is the best out there for my 51 year old face and worth the price.
