Cereve SPF - strong enough?

Hi wise mumsnetters. I can't find the answer to this anywhere! I know we are supposed to use SPF every day but does that have to be a standalone product ? I know some moisturisers with added spf aren't enough but the Cereve one seems to be marketed as an SPF product so is it enough ? I use serum, moisturiser and make up so not sure where I'd fit in extra spf or indeed at what stage to use it. Thank you

I use it in winter alone, but my cc cream has spf in it too, in the summer I wear another spf on top of my cerave

I use it all year round but if it’s sunny use a separate spray sunscreen on top (I live in Scotland so it’s rarely sunny!).

Same as PPs, I’m using it on its own at the moment but use an extra SPF on top when it’s sunnier. I’m on the south coast and we do get a lot of sun down here. I don’t wear make up though so I don’t have as many extra layers to think about! In the summer it’s just serum (sometimes) + Cerave + SPF

A dermatologist on you tube showed how much SPF we should wear and it was two fingers full - basically spread it along two fingers- more than when you put a face cream on so I think you should not rely on just what is in a face cream.

I tried that two finger thing with my factor 50 and it was far too much, even after minutes of rubbing in I was left with a white layer of grease on my face.
