Stylish, comfy boots for walking many miles sightseeing?

Help!
I recently went on a trip to a city where we walked 40,000 steps over the course of the weekend. Had a fab time but…… ow.my.feet!
I had blisters on the bottom of my feet! I wore boots that I’ve worn lots of times for walking around a lot, but they clearly aren’t any good for this kind of walking. A friend has a pair of Dr Martens and says she swears by them. I tried a pair on but found them clunky and restrictive around my ankles (although only wore for a few minutes so feel free to tell me to persevere)

I want a pair that I can wear for sightseeing, comfy AND stylish so I feel smart going for meals etc while sightseeing. Hence not considering traditional walking boots.

Please can you recommend what you have that fits the brief above?
Thanks!

Just thought I’d update: sorry, I don’t know how to quote or tag but I bought the pikolinos biker boots and LOVE them! Sturdy but not too restrictive, lovely and firm but cushioned on the sole, zip means I can lace them but once I’ve got them how I want them I can just slip them on and off with ease! Thanks for the recommendations everyone!

I lurked on this thread and followed @Green777 's recommendation for Converse City Trek and they arrived two weeks ago; I love them and have worn them loads, very comfortable and versatile. Thanks for the thread OP!
