Natural Nails?

I love to have my nails painted but I find when I paint them they end up breaking.

How many of you have your nails natural with just a clear basecoat on? Is it worth giivng up polish on finger nails altogether? I do like my toenails painted in the summer though but they are stronger and I only paint them in the summer.

I always have my fingernails just painted with a clear basecoat and topcoat.

I need varnish on them to make them look nicer and because they feel more comfortable like that (so I won't bite them). But I hate colour on my nails because it inevitably flakes and breaks.

Clear doesn't look so bad if it chips and dries much quicker than colour, so it very easy to redo every 3 days or so.

I do my cuticles, file, shape and buff and do one coat of Dior Nail Glow. Nice, clean, short, classy. Dior Nail Glow has been a life changer for me.

Same here.

I use Dior Nail Glow too. Though if it’s out of your price range there are cheaper alternatives. I think Essie does one and Nails Inc does too.

I wouldn’t recommend buffing your nails though as it basically removes layers of nail and subsequently weakens them. Obviously some people like the PP can get away with it but if your nails are breaking anyway it definitely won’t help. Check out The Salon Life on YouTube for cheap, easy ways to look after your natural nails.

I see very few people that I consider to have attractive natural nails and prefer a neutral shade of polish. I don't like Dior Nail Glow at all.

I dont like the look of gel nails (too thick) and varnish chips on me within 24 hours so I've been on natural nails for a while.

I do prefer a single coat of sheer pink to just clear but either is fine and looks neat. I oil my cuticles and keep nails short and well tended.

I have been wearing nail stickers over Christmas. Just cheapie from amazon but I'm loving them, look like varnish but don't chip. Started to go white at ends after about 5 days, came straight off with nail varnish remover and 10 mins to put new ones on. I can't see how they could damage my nails so might keep it up through winter to detract from ghostly white hands. You can get clear and sheer ones which I'll try when I'm bored of colour.

Dior nail glow is a bloody rip off, they can see you coming.

What’s wrong with mavala clear pink or rimmel clear to highlight your natural nails.
