The best heatless wave/ curling tools

I've been using velcro rollers, and whilst they are quite good, I am wondering if there is anything else out there that may do a longer lasting job.

In the past I have tried heat curling products and no matter which one I used, it didn't last, and the heat just wrecked my hair. I also have very, very good condition hair and I put this down to not using heat on it, unless I have to.

So, please share your non heat successes, and also what products you use to help the setting. I have medium size rollers, and they work, but would like to find a wow tool. I was thinking of getting a curling rod headband, and would welcome reviews on this. One of my colleagues came in with gorgeous curls and told me she had wound her hair up overnight in sports socks.

I have no non-heat successes.
The only thing that makes my curls stay in all day is curling by a straightener. And not my dyson one. They don't last with that.

I always use a heat protector spray and don't curl it that often. But they do last for days after.

Also the dark green hair spray in the strongest hold you can find.

Ive wasted a tonne of money on heatless curl items. None lasted, if they worked at all.

Ive got thin long hair if that makes a difference.
