Black cardigan / jacket

I’m going to Boston for work in January, and it’s likely to be damn cold! I tend to wear dresses and have a few nice knee length knitted ones I’ll take with long boots, but I could do with a nice structured black cardigan or a more relaxed jacket to wear on top. I have plenty of suit style jackets but that’s way too formal for this trip.

I was just about to suggest this one, I have it and it's very useful as it's not too smart but it's not too casual either.

You can’t see the detail so well on the photos of the black one but if you click on the white one you can see a bit better the material and design. It looks a bit more structured to me and slightly closer to a black jacket (which was exactly what I was after too)

I have ordered the Brora one - they got me on the “one left in stock” notification 🤣. It kept growing on me, so hope it works in real life! If not I’ll go try to try on the whistles one, it’s not in the sale so hopefully won’t sell out.

i tried this the other day and it’s lovely, versatile for work and with jeans etc. soooo expensive but though, I’ve been waiting for it to go into the sale. The yellow version has at half price but not this one!

How about the jigsaw metallic button cardigan . Cashmere / wool mix so should be warm ?
