Grey hair - dye it silver first?

Inspired by another thread sorry.
I dye my hair dark brown but need to do my roots every 3/4 weeks . It comes through white,brown and grey.
Blond looks awful on me so I'm thinking get it all dyed silver and then have natural hair grow . It might look balagye (sp?) As it grows out
Does this sound like a plan for 2024?

Should I attempt it myself or get it done professionally?

I would get it done in salon - Silver is a hard colour to achieve and if your hair has been dyed brown with box dye it will lift warm and patchy, it will require bleaching too if you are dark. I would at least get yourself booked in for a consultation which are normally free just to discuss your options obviously I can't say too much without seeing your hair or having you in front of me lol, but it is a harder colour to achieve than you may think! But the idea sounds nice for sure! Good luck if you get it done please post pics!! Xx

Thankyou for your post. It's my birthday in Feb so I'm going to not dye till then and go to a hair dresser.
As my birthday present I'll get my hair done.
