Serum like moisturiser recommendations please!

I'm 33 with fairly unproblematic skin. Not overly dry and not oily but so get some acne along with horrific PMT (yay).

Anyway, I've been trialling the Fresh Waves moisturiser from Tropic and love it. It smells so clean (almost like I remember clarins smelling - when I had spare money before kids!) and is serum like in texture; light weight, jelly style texture that absorbs quickly and leaves a dewy finish. But it's £28 for 50ml which is a bit steep for my budget.

I'd rather spend under £15 for 100ml if possible (drug store brands probably).

Any recommendations?

Dunno if this quite fits the bill, but I've been pleased with Revolution Vit C serum, which I've been combining with (variously) ELF Holy Hydration, or Cerave moisturising lotion for dry skin. All available from Superdrug, and good value (read: quite cheap!).

Vit C is supposed to be very good for dealing with post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, which may be an issue for you if you get acne. I can confirm my brown sunspots have faded since I began using it regularly.
