Fake or legit?

Hi all! Does anybody know how to find out if cosmetics are fake of legit?

I bought a serum on a site called Zefash and the bottle looks very similar to my old one but the plunger is not the same style so now I’m getting paranoid thinking that it might be fake and what it’s made of.

This is a quite expensive serum that I was planning to use for the year. I contacted Lancôme and they just sent me the list of authorized retailers (the site is not part of it).

I have also checked the batch number at the bottom and it seems original but I’m still doubtful because of the quality of the plunger being much lower.

Please help TIA

I have to say it's a bit dodgy. The website looks legitimate in some ways but not in others. It's completely unclear where they're located, they claim to have a store with pictures and everything but no address or opening hours, nor any contact address. So while it's not your obvious scam where they steal your credit card info and you never receive anything it may very well be that they're not selling legitimate items. It's also an odd mashup of cheap clothing and high end cosmetics. Where did your package come from?

I did a little further digging, the images of their 'shop' are stock images that have been photoshopped. I'd assume this is a scam of some sorts and you're best off contacting your bank.
