Anyone have a septum piercing?

I'm 42 and I want one. I have a nostril and a lot of ear piercings and I think this is what I'm going to do next. Am I too old? Can you really flip them up to hide if necessary?

I've always wanted this but I've got quite a long nose and wonder if it would make it appear even longer

I got one today!!

love it. I’m so impulsive though I was meant to just be taking dsd for a helix and came out with a septum 😆

Nice @WeAllLikeVindaloo Did it hurt? Are you able to flip it up? I'm going to talk to my piercer about it when I go for my next downsize.

I’m 41 and have it. The only drawback is if you don’t flip it down for ages, it can smell like cheesy cocks when you do 🤢

NotmySundaybest · 29/12/2023 17:46

I'm thinking about a normal nostril piercing!

@Mazuslongtoenail I have heard about the smell 😂

It didn’t hurt as such, very sharp stab. It hurt more for the horseshoe to be put it.

I haven’t tried to flick it up yet as it is too tender right now. It’s been very ticklish and itchy and slightly stingy since being done.

I'm 40 something and have had mine for probs around a year now. I work in NHS and tbh I don't think most people notice it as its a discrete hoop. I tried the dangly balls but they don't suit me!! Also, yes prepare for the smell of death for at least 6 months, but it does go (eventually).
Just do it, who cares what others think
