What's everyone wearing on Christmas Day?

Apologies if there has been a thread on this, I couldn't see one. Be nice to see outfit inspiration!

If I don’t want to go full on glam then I’ve got a whistles black sparkle jumper that I’ll wear with black jeggings or black fine sort of plisse pleated and black John Lewis flat shoes with Diamanté buckle or Massimo dutti sort of silver open back knit with similar bottom half and shoes to above.

Ooh I got silver tight jeans this winter which are a bit tight but got nice soft grey Zara sweater with a pocket that I can team them with and when I wore both and saw DM recently she thought the silver jeans were expensive, no only £45 from local boutique.

This dress with black tights, dont normally bother but I'm hosting and wanted to dress up.

Christmas bubble hem too, mens Xmas cardi (I'm tall so length is better) and dungarees dress.

I'll wear leggings instead of tights.

Boots to travel and wellies for our walk!

I have a new dress which arrived 3 weeks ago which I had not even taken out of the packaging until tonight. I think it will do. Importantly as I will mostly be in the kitchen for the next couple of days I will be wearing my gothic apron which I requested my Mum make for me a few years ago as a Christmas gift. We lost Mum last year but this way a part of her will still be here at Christmas

@Diversion 😍my DM was a bit of an amateur seamstress. How lovely! I still have birthday bunting that she made from my DD’s old dresses and I get it out every birthday and they are now 23 and 19.

I love the idea of including those who are gone in your outfits... I must think on that.

My plan is black satin midi with silk green shirt but maybe a bit dark. . Will consider what other top I might have.

the only thing that matters is that there should be room for an expanding tummy, not easily creased so can have a nap and handy pockets for storing snacks .... so pj's.

Hobbs Ciara A Line Dress. Forgiving of food babies.

Normally I like to wear a dress but I'm breastfeeding so it'll be a nice jumper and black jeans.

Usually I dress up a little - but this year it's just DH and me so I will probably stay in pyjamas.

Comfortable roomy Chritmas tunic dress with leggings and taking my slippers round! Make up and Chritmas earrings, sorted lol. X

Cable knit dress, fitted but stretchy!!

Black leggings, mustard cable-knit jumper and black Chelsea boots.
Simple silver jewellery and a couple of silver hair pins to add a bit of joy to my hair.

I got this dress earlier this year for my birthday and I will be wearing it for Christmas dinner too. We are hosting both DH's and my family and PJ's will unfortunately not cut it this year.

Ooh @blueshoes started something with this, I love that dress! I’ve never had anything from Hobbs but I think I’ll be having a look.

If we go out for a walk I'll be wearing this. I LOVE it. I just got it at 50% off, and a size smaller than I used to be. It had been stalking me on social media, and I was near the store, so I called in, and it fit perfectly. I bought it and then went home and told DH he'd just got me the perfect Christmas present.

This, almost exactly. Although I have ponte trousers, they look like leggings. Great to find someone channelling the same vibe. 😊

I've bought myself a Scamp & Dude sweatshirt, oversized with beaded lightning bolt. It was my Xmas gift to myself and the last of my Xmas savings so I felt ok about it! I'm wearing it with faux leather trousers and pointy flats. I'm cooking so will have an apron over the top while I do that. Comfy but also sparkly!

PJs as I'm on my own this year! First time ever and I've bought myself an M&S Christmas Dinner (will do extra roast potatoes in the AF and extra Yorkshire puddings 😍)

After initially being completely upset at being on my own (very very upset!!) I'm now embracing it and actually looking forward to my 'me day' 😍
