I like to be comfortable and it’s nice and stretchy for when I’m full on Xmas dinner

Brown slouchy cords from Hush, with an oversized cream alpaca knit from Arket, and cream New Balance trainers. Big gold hoops, red lipstick.

I bought a black velvet maternity dress from vinted, but it fit ‘just right’ a week ago and I swear I can see my stomach growing every day! Might just wear it for visiting and get back into my pyjamas at home!

I have the flu so I'm just hoping to get showered and out of PJ's really 😪
Treated myself to a jumper in the Boden sale to cheer myself up so that with leggings is what I'm aiming for.

A red stripy apron for cooking (messy is to be expected).
A short green William Morris shift dress with fancy sleeve bows from H&M 6 years ago. Black cotton tights and dangly green earrings.
Out for dinner on 31st with dancing in the square at midnight. Black polo neck, Indian crystal necklace and black lace/bronze lined mini. Bronze puffer coat.

Pastel green maxi dress for Christmas Eve do.

White wide leg cropped jeans and some top I haven't decided on for Christmas Day. I have a light cotton one with red tones so it may be that.

It's mid 30 degree temps so keeping cool is key.

Jeans and a Christmas jumper. We are very relaxed at Christmas 😊

According to whether I felt more glam, country house or cosy on the day, it was going to be any one of:

sequin jumper, velvet jeans
slip skirt, fluffy jumper
jeans, fairisle jumper
velvet hoodie, wide-leg trackies

BUT I'm hanging on to a cold and everything including my eyes is sore or messy or both. Hair is lank mess and make-up a distant memory. Can't bear being in a dressing gown all day though so it'll probably be the hoodie-trackie combo. With chandelier earrings to set off my ruby eyes.

Luckily I finish work by 330 PM so I will change into something suitable for lounging around eating and watching films etc

Jogging bottoms and a jumper. Not even a Christmas jumper. Slippers. And a paper hat

A loose fitting dress with Christmas trees on it
Undecided on Christmas sparkly shoes with a small heel or black flats

Thin black poloneck, red/gold/black brocade midi skirt, black tights ankle boots. A multi strand muted/old gold necklace to pick up the gold in the brocade.

My husband works in a restaurant so we all go there and any excuse to dress up! The dress is twirly and has stretch to accommodate all the food I'm eating and the shoes I bought with my mum when we went to New York years ago. She died last year so I try to wear something that reminds me of good times with her when it's a special occasion.

Pre and post dinner I'll be rocking my new disco santa pjs from Marks!

Nothing fancy. Jeans and a sweater. I'm so over getting gussied up for Christmas.

Ok I have been saved by a green , wrap front, wide leg jumpsuit that has stretch and no zips so easy to pull on and off. Thank you Next 🙏

@Slink that’s fabulous! Love your shoe story. I do the same and will be wearing my DM’s leopard print kitten heels with my green jumpsuit. DM was a stylish lady and I like to remember her that way.

At my DM’s house a metallic grey knitted dress with pleated skirt and pewter ankle boots on Christmas Day.

Boxing Day at boyfriend’s parents a midi/maxi dress which is sparkly (gold) but sort of multi coloured and will wear a gold or silver belt with it and maybe pewter Zara metallic trainers or sparkly silver glitter court shoes with a heel.
