Which bag to go with this coat?

I have fallen in love with this coat (I realise its a bit boring and not to everyone's taste) and would like a new bag to wear with it. Just for day to day use really e.g. school run, shopping etc.
Does anybody have any ideas what style/colour of bag would go nicely?
I'm really clueless and would like to look smart and trendy!

The coat is plain so virtually anything will go with it!

I wouldn't get navy or black though. Anything else will be great

I’d be tempted to get a pop of colour to go with this.

Or a toning colour (green/wine colour) if you don’t want to stand out too much.
