Hair dye question

I used clairol light brown hair dye a few weeks ago, it's starting to go a ginger colour and some grey on roots. Can I dye over this, maybe a dark brown colour or do I need to wait until it grows out?

You can dye over it. You'd normally do the roots first and then apply to the the ends after the 1st processing time

Yes dye over it, a colour with a more ashy/cool toned base might be what you need to stop this happening again in a few weeks. Was it Nice n Easy? Those are fairly innocuous (no metallics or anything silly in them) so you can just cover it up with another one in a slightly cooler tone.
