The ultimate black legging

I'm looking for the best black leggings in the UK.

Something for the day, mooching around the house, good quality, something a bit sturdier than cotton ones.

I love my Sweatty Betty ones. All saints have nice soft ones with a mini skirt which I like too.

Lemonademoney · 17/12/2023 08:35

Love my Adanola ones. Super super flattering and suck in the pooch very effectively

tenbob · 17/12/2023 08:39

Lululemon Align are hands down the best

Super soft fabric, great cut, wash and wear well

luckbealadytonight · 17/12/2023 08:59

Also impressed with my Adanola ones, they aren't see through and nice support round the tummy.

Also no sign of pilling and I've had them nearly two years.

I wear mint velvet ones, fab quality, not too expensive, order them online, they don’t go out of shape, have a nice wide waistband, can’t see through them one bit. I don’t buy any other brand now.

mummysandwich · 17/12/2023 09:37

Sorry to jump on, but what's the sizing like at Adanola?

dastidlydaschel · 17/12/2023 10:46

Well don't get the M&S ones! They used to be decent but bought new ones last week and the fabric is so thin it's see through. Very disappointed with M&S recently!

I'm a 12 at M&S and have a medium.

They are very long, I roll mine up and I'm 5'6.

Mirrormeback · 17/12/2023 11:43

I'm currently wearing my sweaty Betty leggings

I have loads of pairs and they last forever

1AnotherOne · 17/12/2023 12:55

Lululemon align is the one

RampantIvy · 17/12/2023 13:37

Unbelievably - Primark. The most expensive ones they have. I think they were £8 or £10, I can't remember.

They are thick, and very comfortable. DD also has some for work.

LoreleiG · 17/12/2023 13:52

I have the Boden essentials ones. I don’t get on that well with not cotton ones. These are nice and thick.

Crikeyalmighty · 17/12/2023 13:53

I wear black leggings virtually every day and my best ones are a pair of sparkly black/silver ones I bought from M&S about 4 years ago for around £35 ( so higher end of M&S leggings) and sweaty Betty and Lulu lemon - go on forever and fit well - M&S are good - but only at the higher end price wise

Oh dear, just googled and they have changed the fabric and nobody is happy!

appleberryblast · 17/12/2023 14:00

I bought some Loveleggings 2 years ago, although they've faded a little they are brilliant - high waisted and thick, warm and great value.

StarlightLady · 17/12/2023 19:44

Sweaty Betty 3/4 length. Last forever. Good job, considering the price. But they are a perfect fit and you are not forever pulling them up.

LaChatte · 17/12/2023 19:48

The Waitrose ones are pretty sturdy and reasonably priced.

LaChatte · 17/12/2023 19:49

Morrisons sorry, not Waitrose 🙄

You have a posh autocorrect 😂.

ScreenPrinting · 17/12/2023 20:57

Sorry to hijack OP but I’m really keen on treating myself to some lulu lemon Aligns… what’s the sizing like, for those who wear them? Compared to, say Sweaty Betty?

chalkyc2 · 18/12/2023 06:54

Ah might try the fat face ones. I have lots of sweaty betty but they're 'sporty' rather than cosy. I wouldn't wear SB with jumpers and boots.

I agree M&S are v thin and not super stretchy.
