Upper lip hair

I have light skin and dark hair and have had dark hair on my top lip as well as a couple of dark hairs on my chin for some time. I am wondering if this could be to do with PCOS or is it fairly common for women with light skin and dark hair to experience this?

If I don’t wax weekly I fear I would end up looking like Freddie Mercury!
I have light skin and dark hair. DSis has lighter hair and no moustache, well if you look really closely a very fine, very light one. Mine is getting worse the older I get too.
No PCOS, just one of those things. I think it’s fairly common tbh.

It's not uncommon. I've always had fine darkish hairs on my top lip (although a combination of Lumea and epistick mostly eliminates it) and also get the occasional wiry dark or white hair that needs a good tug with the tweezers. I believe PCOS has other symptoms that would be more indicative.

I have fair skin and have mine waxed every month. I have heard there can hormonal reasons but I have never had other symptoms to speak of.
