Are these boots dated?

Perfectly nice boots but are they dated/ frumpy/cliched etc

What would be the "today" alternative?

I'm so crap at this!

I don't think they are dated, the biker style is a classic, just depends if you're into it. I have some clunky DM in a chelsea style but similar to these, look great with dresses, I get lots of compliments. The chelsea style is definitely more "in" right now though for sure.

I wear that kind of style boot but I don’t like the soles on those. They look a bit rubbery. The upper is great though.

They're a classic style. The soles may look dated eventually but that wouldn't bother me. I love chunky boots ♥️

Those are OK but I'm not keen on buckles and zips for myself.
George have some chelsea bootsWomen's Wellies & Ankle Wellington Boots | George at ASDA but M&S probably have nicer ones

I think you can get more on trend boots, for me, I don’t like soles being a different colour to the leather.

This made me laugh.
I actually have "plates of meat" type feet so they are quite roomy.

I'll go for "they are ok for a middle aged woman who downs want to buy trendier ones" vibe.

I do actually have some chunky combat style boots from last winter that are all black. But I've never ware them and I think they are no longer "fashionable" either.

Whatever fashionable means to you!

I mean, Per Una tends to make anything looks slightly dated even if it isn't. Nothing wrong with a biker boot. Is it the chicest version of a biker boot? No, but they're also not horrible and good for the price.

I bought them in 2020 for some took a screenshot for some reason Confused

Per Una is really weird it was awful for ages then went ok then went very dated again.

Anyway I'll wear my sensible middle aged boots with pride and not fear ridicule!
