Foundation Recommendation

Looking for a lightweight foundation. I'm 43 and have good skin. Last foundation I bought was Estee Lauder double wear but I found it was looking a bit cakey. I really want a light, dewy foundation that freshens me up lol. Budget is open.

I've started using Chanel Les Beiges Water Tint foundation. It's super light and really lovely to use. Just evens out my complexion a bit without being at all cakey. I had the same, felt as if full foundation was just sitting on my fine lines and emphasising them!

Nars tinted moisturiser is excellent. Despite the name it’s a definitely a light foundation. Lots of shades to choose from, nice and glowy and blendable.

Look into tinted serums. I've got the Ilia one and the Plants are purple one - both are nice.

No7 Hydraluminous. I recommend it alllll the time because it is fab. Isn’t heavy or cakey, glowy without making you look greasy. Lasts all day. I’ve used it for years and years and still the best foundation I’ve ever used!

I've recently purchased this and it is very nice, I've also got the matching concealer.

@massistar I use the same and like how light it is. It’s a little spendy but it’s manageable when bought on a deal. My advice @Stress101 is to ask the Chanel SA to try it on you first and test it first. The majority of Chanel SAs I have found helpful in terms of this.

Fenty Eaze Drops. Sits somewhere between a tinted moisturizer and a light foundation. I find it really blurs and covers my pores but still looks light and fresh.

I've tried all budgets, at the moment I'm loving L'Oréal true match and fresh wear, might sound boring but it cover's naturally and stays put nicely all day.

Nothing has been as good as urban decay stay naked for me but it's hard to find now. Everything else flakes for me regardless of prep. I'm scared to try their new one in case it isn't as good
