I had Benefit Hello Happy in shade 3 but this seems to be out of stock online. Can anyone suggest an alternative?

My skin is very fair, but not the fairest - I'd say I'm probably second fairest (haha). Overall, I've found both Mac and Bobbi Brown generally pretty good. Bobbi Brown's current range isn't as good as the old one so it might be that Mac is a better choice. Avoid NARS - I love the coverage but it's always too yellow for super fair skin I think.

On the cheaper side, I've heard good things about Maybelline and L'Oreal but have not tried them myself.

I have vitiligo so about as pale as you can get I use No7 calico which is lovely.

Hello, go on to findation.com and put in your current foundation and it will bring you matches in other brands.

I used Mac for years because it does the two different undertones I.e. warm vs cool as well as the shade. Right now I’m going through my hourglass phase and am happy with that too, I did one of those shade finder quizzes during Covid and came out as porcelain (shocker) which is a good shade on me.

Fenty has very pale shades

I’m very fair skinned, I know it’s not foundation and maybe not what you are looking for but the L’Oréal paradise tinted moisturiser in 02 Fair I find has a lovely natural glow to it.

I'm very fair and love Nars natural radiant foundation in shade Mont Blanc, their tinted tinted moisturisers are also lovely.

L'Oreal True Match liquid foundation goes pretty pale and caters for different undertones, too - they do a 0.5 which has a cool undertone, my fave, or a 1.0 available in cool or neutral. I use both 0.5 and 1.0 depending on winter or summer.

Tarte which is for sale through Sephora in U.K. (and direct from USA) has lovely products that go mega pale.

Rimmel kind and free skin tint is amazing

TwinklingLightsEverywhere · 12/12/2023 21:37

I am mega pale. Always used illamasca, they have a white foundation you can mix with others too.

I do think there are more pale shades now. No 7 have one that is actually too light for me as do Fenty.
