Hi,
I have thinning hair, but it's quite long, and I'm in the market for a hair piece to make it look thicker (I'm not bothered about additional length), particularly at the ends, which is where the thinness shows the most. I like my hair long, I don't want to cut it (as I know I'll get people telling me it would be best to cut it much shorter).
I looked into hair extensions but a) they're expensive (including upkeep), b) I worry that in the long-term they will make my hair thinner, c) I don't really like the idea of them to be honest, the thought makes my head itchy.
So now I'm looking into hair pieces... so either:
a) A topper
b) A halo hair piece
c) a U part wig
d) something else that I might not have heard of...?
If any mums netters use any of the above (or other alternatives I may not have considered) and can offer advice, it would be appreciated. I don't really know much about what to look for, if human or synthetic hair is a better option, etc. My budget isn't huge but could probably stretch to £500 (would prefer to spend less though!).
I also don't yet know if this will be something I'd wear religiously every day, or not (I guess that will depend how much faff involved).
Thank you so much for any help! x
