Do Zara coats come up small?

I'm looking to buy a jacket from Zara. Their size guide say I should get a medium.

I'm 5"5 and a little over 9 stone. Keep reading that their stuff comes up small so wondering whether to get a large.

Yes, definitely come up small. You might be ok if something is an oversized boxy style.
