My friend has thinning hair. She's 45, so possibly it's a peri-menopause thing. She has a thin, quite angular face and I have always thought she looks a bit like Anna Kendrick and a bit like Tina Fey - they're her 'type'. She's very upset about the thinning hair situation and wondering if a pixie cut or crop might help. She asked what I think and I have been googling pics of slim-faced women with very short hair but I could do with some ideas from other people.
Does anyone know if very short hair is helpful in disguising thinning hair? And, does anyone have any short style ideas that might work on a woman with a thin face similar to these two celebrities' faces? I can't find any nice images of them with short hair, which may be telling.
I myself have a fat face and hair so thick I look like a lampshade a lot of the time so this is not my areas of expertise.
