HELP! Age 40 and under eye/cheek bumps

Hi - as per the (fairly rubbish) picture I’ve got irritation, redness and blocked pores under my eye and cheek. It’s worse on one cheek but starting to develop on the other.

I used to have terrible hormonal acne in my teens and 20s but have had clear skin for a good amount of time now so I really want to sort this out.

Any ideas what it is and how best to treat it?

Looks like rosacea. Mine also developed in my 40s. GP can confirm.

You can get antibiotic cream from the GP. Or Soolantra.

I use The Ordinary Azelaic Acid to keep it under control.

Thanks for the reply - did you get any indication of why it developed? Getting an appointment with the GP around here is pretty much impossible so topical OTC or branded solutions are preferable
