Ring sizes

Hi everyone

trying to get DH a ring for Xmas but the one I like only have a size v 1/2 and he is a size V. Is there much difference or will it still fit?

If I got a ring half a size too big it would slip around and possibly come off. If he has big knuckles it may stay on though.
