Face moisturiser

Hi, I'm after a face moisturiser that absorbs well and doesn't cost too much. Hit me with recommendations 😄

I love Astral, which is about £5 for a large tub, but it's thick which you might not like.

I’ve always gone for cheaper options and added eg serums and retinol and SPF before/after. I’ve also bought expensive and super expensive ones like Crème De La Mer and Rodial and barely saw a difference! The only posh one I really liked was I think a Lancôme Rose one back in late 80s and of course it’s been discontinued a long time ago!

current favourite is:-

• Amphora Aromatics Neroli and Aloe Face Cream
• Boots vit C moisturiser is great
• Waitrose pure (I think that’s name) is also good.

All the above absorb well. The Amphora one is rejuvenating, anti wrinkle and toning with mild sunscreen and the Boots one the Vit C brightens.

I really like this one and have been using it for several years after previously using Nivea Q10. I found with that one I'd have to change what I used as the summer and then the winter arrived, but with the Revitalift I haven't had to do that. It's quite often half price which is good too.
L'Oreal Revitalift

Have been using Aveeno cream for many years on my face. It's oatmeal based and I find it very gentle but effective. Often 1/3 off at Boots so very reasonable.

Nivea Cellulair, only when it's half price though
