Hairdryer advice

Please can I have some advice for buying a hairdryer for DH for Christmas

Our current hairdryer was bought at minimal expense from the middle of Lidl and is unsurprisingly crap. DH is the main user of the hairdryer.

His requirements: hot and dries his hair as fast as physically possible

My requirements: can use with a diffuser and good with curls on the rare occasions I don't just leave my hair to dry

I am getting confused looking at ionic, ceramic and terms that mean nothing to me at all. Do not want to be paying Dyson prices.

I use a Parlux and very happy with it, really powerful, never used it with a diffuser though so can't comment

I’ve just bought a Parlux Alyon and it’s wonderful-dries my hair faster and quieter than my old Parlux which lasted 10 years. You can get a diffuser attachment for it. Cheapest I found was just my look at about £135.
