Can anyone help me save my thumb nail?!
I have gelled my nails at home (gel varnish, not extensions) for a year or so, and am giving them a break for a couple of months.
All my other nails are absolutely fine, I've cut them short and they're all in decent condition and growing nicely - feel strong, no ridges, peeling, flaking etc.
But my thumb nail is split and no matter what I do, how short I cut it, it just keeps splitting. Has anyone got any ideas on how to protect it/stop this?
I'm so paranoid that I'm going to catch it and rip it!
