Do stylish, very warm gloves exist?

I trade at creative/craft markets this time of year and I have a few coming up soon that are in non heated locations, so pretty much outside. I really feel the cold so need some extra warm gloves, but they also need to look nice too. Any ideas?

Cashmere lined leather gloves will do the trick - many online options to choose from. I have some and have never had a warmer pair.

An alternative might be thin silk gloves inside smart gloves? DH uses them when he’s motorcycling in the winter.

Thanks everyone I'll check them all out

Hestra. Pricy but warm.

LillyLeaf · 05/12/2023 19:47

Yes! Just seen these... so nice, but expensive, maybe they could be an early present to myself.

Leather gloves. Classic, stylish and very toasty.

@LillyLeaf more options on the Hestra site www.hestragloves.uk/collections/collection
I have the mittens. They are brilliant.

I find cashmere lined leather gloves are the only things that work for me and still let me drive safely - John Lewis do them every year and I repeat buy in the sale when they tend to be half price. With Reyauds it's a necessity in my life. Hope you find something nice!

I've got some really nice velvet thermal ones. They're very warm and soft. I think they're from uniqlo years ago. They usually do a similar style each year.

I have a pair of Dents leather gloves with micro-fleece lining. They are now 10 years old, look like new and are super warm. (Husband was so jealous I bought him the mens version!)

Gunpla · 06/12/2023 22:19

Mittens are actually warmer than gloves, because your fingers keep each other warm.

Just to say that ski glove silk liners are amazing as an extra layer below gloves! They’re so neat that I wear them on their own often too.

LillyLeaf · 07/12/2023 12:32

I've also ordered some silk liners for extra warm.

I have fine Italian leather driving gloves with a cashmere lining. So warm, flexible and smart.

Bernardmanning · 07/12/2023 19:49

The white company do cashmere lined leather gloves. Not cheap, but I have never had such warm hands. They're so effective that they warm the rest of me up.

The silk ones are decathlon too. I have a few pairs of liners from there, they are all good but the silk or silk mix ones definitely the best for me.

ollypollymolly · 07/12/2023 19:53

When in Italy go to a proper glove shop and by fur lined ones. Best gloves ever.

Amazon - heated gloves. Charge them up & they last about 5 hours! In-built heaters
