Nail wraps for weak nails?

I have horrible splitty weak nails. I’ve previous had gel nails done at a salon but my nails got wrecked so I had to stop. I’m not very good at doing my own polish (gets everywhere!) and I’ve been looking at nail wraps from companies like ‘holy grail nails’ and ‘lily and fox’ - does anyone have experience of using these brands with weak nails? I really want my beautiful looking nails back!!

Those types of wraps are basically the sane as gel nails, they're just part cured so they're easy to apply yourself.

You could look into something like silk wraps. You can buy kits but it's a huge faff to do.

It's usually the taking off that an cause damage, all of these need proper removal so not really better than gel. Might be better trying treatments, improving your diet, buying supplements, etc.

Why did your nails get wrecked - were you removing them yourself or getting them removed at the salon?

I bang on about this regularly, but go to a salon and get IBX treatment. Go every fortnight for a couple of months. It makes a massive difference to strength and will really help your damaged nails recover. I have naturally shite, weak, splitty nails and swear by it (I'm a qualified nail tech but only do friends and family, no affiliation with IBX at all).
