A coat that's warm and WASHABLE?

Does such a thing exist? I am often around BBQs and campfires, and my warm coats always end up smelling minging. I want something I can wash that is warm and looks decent. Mush have a hood!

Any ideas? Budget up to £300.

I wash all my coats in the washing machine (except wool formal ones), puffa jackets, parkas, etc. If your worry is that they'll no longer be shower proof there are products you can use for that.

I'm worried my old Hush puffa will be ruined if I chuck it in the machine - it says "do not wash" on the label and the dry cleaner refused it.

I'm trying to avoid this with my next purchase. I can live with it becoming less waterproof.

I can see the Seasalt coats say they are washable, are any of those particularly warm?

I love my sea salt Janelle. Had it several years. Just about the only thing that kept me warm whilst dig walking and later hanging around in draughty church towers. Washes and dries quickly and never had to re proof it yet.

I wash my Uniqlo down coat. Takes a while to fluff up again but still warm.

Definitely. As required and at then end of the season. I have several coats so one may only be washed once in that time.

Didrikson parkas are brilliant

I recently got a barbour and it says machine wash and tumble dry.
