Trinny Miracle Blur (or alternatives).

Hi,

Has anyone tried the Trinny miracle blur product and if so, does it work for helping disguise lines? I’m really lucky at nearly 48 not to have wrinkles or fine lines apart from a few round my mouth and these are relatively noticeable. I know nothing will be perfect but I thought this sort of thing might help.

Or if you know of any other brands/products that work well too, I’d be grateful for recommendations. Thank you.

Miracle blur never worked for me, but I’m willing to believe it was my failing to apply it correctly. I’d say I’m also lucky to have few lines, but the miracle blur either slid off, or just accentuated them.

edit to add: I do, though, quite like Trinny products. Just never got on with MB

It works well for fine lines once you get the hang of it. Revolution do a cheaper version which is decent.

I bought this for my mum and was not impressed at all. It was a waste of money to be honest.

ChangeUsername123 · 02/12/2023 20:56

Thanks for the opinions. I also saw the Revolution one so I might try that and then if it’s no good, at least I haven’t wasted too much.

Far prefer the Revolution one and a fraction of the price

Back21970 · 02/12/2023 21:55

I thought it was rubbish but wondering if it’s my technique so may give it another go if anyone can give me some tips?

Sunshineandrainbow · 03/12/2023 10:47

Going to try the revolution one.
Do you use it instead of moisturiser or over it?

Grimbelina · 03/12/2023 10:50

What is the Revolution one called?

HavingToStartAgain · 03/12/2023 10:52

Benefit porefessional is better imo

blorm · 03/12/2023 12:00

I also wasn't impressed

Purplecatshopaholic · 03/12/2023 12:01

This is the Revolution one I use. Awesome stuff.

@Purplecatshopaholic . Do you use it instead of a primer, over moisturiser and under makeup?

Purplecatshopaholic · 03/12/2023 15:11

I use a tinted moisturiser and put it over that. Haven’t tried it with a foundation, but would put it on over moisturiser but under foundation. Doubt I would use a primer with this as well. Works really well over tinted moisturiser. Bit of powder on top if needed but it matifies the skin really well so not necessary until later in the day generally.

Is this stuff not the same as Dr.Feelgood or whatever it was called?

I was looking at revolution miracle cream. Seems to be a few different ones.

FinallyFinalGirl · 03/12/2023 19:36

The Filorga one is excellent as is Wrinkle Warrior by Kate Somerville. The Trinny one is pure shit...well, it was for me.

Arrivederla · 03/12/2023 20:05

With all of this type of product, I've found that they work much better if you really press them onto your skin rather than rubbing them in, iyswim.
